Approach:

Shaylee takes a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the foundational connection between scientific, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual influences. She uses several different theoretical models to try and find the best intervention for each individual. These models may include: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassionate Inquiry.

Population focus:

Adults of any age in the care and treatment of: Anxiety Disorders; Depression; Grief and Loss; Life Transitions; and Trauma.

Services:

Shaylee provides therapy to residents of Oregon and Washington via Telehealth.

Education:

Shaylee completed her master's degree at Portland State University in 2014. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She has diverse experience working as a social worker in the following locations:  

Portland State University Field Education  & Adjunct Faculty- Field Instruction facilitates social work inter’s understanding and application of social work values and ethics.

Rogue Community College  - Faculty -Taught courses in College Success, Motivational Interviewing, and Race & Ethnicity. Provides counseling and guidance to students.

Asante Community Hospital - Inpatient Social Worker.
